Hi, I’m Simon, a commercial photographer and producer based in Los Angeles.

I work primarily across product, fashion, and lifestyle photography, creating imagery for e-commerce, campaigns, and brand content. I approach each project by first understanding the product, what makes it worth noticing, and how it will be experienced by the people it is made for.

My background in industrial design and UI/UX influences the way I see commercial photography. I think about images from both the brand’s and the customer’s point of view, considering what needs to be communicated, which features should stand out, and how the photography can make a product easier to understand and connect with. When useful, I also help clients shape the visual approach based on where and how the images will be used.

I’m the Studio Manager and part of the photography team at Rare Studio LA, where I’m involved in both photography and production. Working across the process gives me a broader view of each project, from understanding the initial brief to solving practical and visual problems on set and carrying the work through final delivery.

Outside of commercial work, I photograph urban environments and everyday scenes with a quieter, minimalist approach.
